No, AliComerce requires MS SQL Server 2005 Express or higher.  SQL 2005 Express is free anyway.

Wow, that's really disappointing! We really want to buy and use your solution but  we've been running DNN installations on SQL Server 2000 for many years and as such it would cost us tens of thousands of dollars in man-hours to migrate to SQL Server 2005 in order to do so. How much would you charge to develop a version that runs on 2000?
