I am using DNN V4.08.02 hosted with powerDNN. I downloaded the community edition of V1.2.8.
The domain is www.ameliaislandroasts.com
I logged in as host, went to the Module Definitions page and Installed the modules.....no errors were reported.
I created the necessary pages (Store, Cart, Account and Admin) and set their permissions as required.
I added the various modules to the appropriate pages - again, no error messages reported
I navigated to the Store Admin page and entered the license that you provided and clicked update - No errors reported.
I found that if I restart the application, the license number disappears - is this expected?
I re-entered the license number and then went to the StoreAdmin->Product Types and attempted to create a product type. The page tells me that it was saved properly, but when I review the DB there is nothing in the table, and if I navigate back to the page, there are no product types listed. The same thing seems to happen with most pages.
If I go to Store Admin->Settings->Store Info, I am redirected to the "Orders" page....and there are no orders shown.
I reviewed my event logs by going to Admin->Event Viewer and there was an error about not being able to run a query related to countries....but I think that this is a secondary problem.
I logged in to the DB directly to review the contents of various AS_C_ tables and the EventLog to be empty, as well as most other tables (including Product Types).
Do you have a sense of what might be causing these problems, or how to go about diagnosing it?
