I would like to request the option to choose the default sorting method for the catalog.  Right now it sorts by Price Low to High.

Additionally, I would like the option to remove the entire "Sort By" bar that is on the top and bottom of each category page.  I'm sure this can be done via CSS but that's not an ideal solution.

I too would a default sort order setting. I can live with hiding the SorterBar with CSS.

Interested users can see my other post with a JavaScript hack to achieve a different sort order.
