I need to add a separate storefront to my site. I have learned that it isn't as simple as adding a new set of pages with a new set of AliCommerce modules. Where do I begin? What has to happen so that I can have a second store on my site?

Yes, we'd like to run it under the same portal, using a different alias if necessary. Essentially, it's the only workaround we can see for the product purchase limit being global. We need to limit just a couple of products to one per customer. If there's a better way to do that, then we won't need a second store setup.

No (I am involved in this project as well), they will not be the same items. The second store should only need to have one item in it at any given time, but we can only allow purchase of one item per order.

Okay. Not sure we understand what Community Edition is, but we'll certainly be happy to give it a try. It will allow us to put a second store up in the same portal?
