I'm trying to figure out how to create product attributes using the demo store.  I would like to list something like a shirt, but show a drop down selection for small, medium, large, etc.  In some cases, more than one choice would be offered (size: small, medium, large and color: red, blue, green).

Is there a way to handle this in your store?

I'm a little bit surprised that this is not implemented in AliCommerce. In fact I took it for granted when I bought it. I hope this will be avaiable in an upgrade before version 2.0??

This feature is almost done and we just need a bit more time to do testing.  Custom field is already implemented in AliCommerce 1.x , which allows store admins to add extra product information like publishing date, author,etc.

Any update on this. We need this feature yesterday.

It would be wise to make sure that the attributes of a product can be set to add cost to the overall product. I have seen a couple of stores where they allow for attributes, but there is no price adjuster routines associated with them.

I am holding off on purchasing the professional version until product attributes are available.

One of my clients is a photographic studio who need to sell various sizes of the same print at different prices. Product attributes is essential for this to occur.

Any idea when this function will be available?

OK, it's next week Thursday. Where do we sit with this?

Regarding the new product attributes feature, will I be able to track different sizes of product through the inventory system? I.e. If I sell hats in a choice of S/M/L, I'd like to be able to track each size of hat through the inventory and be able to tell when all the Large hats are out of stock even though we may have an abundance of Mediums.  Will the new Product Attributes feature allow this? Or will it simply be one inventory count for all variations of a particular line item?

We are very happy the feture is complete! Now when will we be able to use it on our installs ;)
