Beta 1 of AliCommerce 2.0 will be released on April 28, 2008. After months’ development since version 1.0 was released, now AliCommerce is very close to where we have expected it to be. Due to the number of new features and enhancements in this release, it may take a few hours to do a thorough testing.
We're looking for some community members to join our beta testing team. The selected beta testers need to send us the detailed feedback, reporting any bugs and making suggestions or new feature requests. If you're interested, please write us a request by email, including your full name, your job title, your company's business model, your username in DNN forums or our forums.
Some new features in this release are listed below:
- Unlimited variant attributes per product, like size and colour.
- Enable/Disable some variants
- Variants can override information like name, SKU, descriptions, prices, image, weight, shipping fee, handling fee and image.
- Track inventory for specified variants.
- 3 display templates for variant attributes – Drop down list, radio button list and image radio button list.
- Unlimited modifier attributes per product, like gift wrap option for a gift product, or accessories for a main product.
- Ability to add price adjustment, weight adjustment and shipping adjustments per modifier option.
- 3 display templates for modifier attributes – Drop down list, radio button list and image radio button list.
- Unlimited input attributes per product, like a domain name text box when selling a software product.
- Store wide sale.
- Sale by product.
- Sale by category.
- Sale by manufacturer.
- Sale by vendor.
- Ability to define start date and end date for each sale.
- Ability to and defined discount amount and select different discount types for each sale - percentage off store price, amount off Store Price, percentage above store cost, amount above store cost, fixed price.

- Ability to define start date and end date for each offer.
