In the past years, we have seen DotNetNuke community struggling to find an affordable, easy to use and powerful e-commerce solution. There are quite a few shopping carts and a couple of them even have a long feature sets, but none of them meets the standards above – they are all developed by programmers and for programmers. The most fatal issue with these carts is that they are too complicated for non-technical users, usually much more complicated than they need to be. Too often, we see people crying for help in the forums for weeks to just get their stores online. That is just the beginning of a long painful process. Cluttered user interface, slow response time, lengthy checkout process and bizarre errors make it impossible for storeowners to professionally run an online store.
